The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released an important update regarding the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024, affecting eligibility criteria and application deadlines. Explanation of Age Categories:
- OM (Open Merit): Candidates applying under Open Merit must fall within the age range of 35 years.

- Physically Challenged Candidates: Physically challenged applicants have an upper age limit of 38 years.
Extended Deadline for Online Application Submission
In addition to revising the age criteria, the JKPSC has extended the deadline for submitting online applications. Candidates now have until 2nd December 2024 to complete and submit their applications. This extension allows additional time for candidates to ensure all requirements are met and fees paid online.
